The star of such movies as "Ghost," "Dirty Dancing," and "Road House", Patrick Swayze died yesterday September 14, 2009, for Pancreatic cancer. He was 57, twenty months after being diagnosed
Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late January 2008, and underwent chemotherapy and other treatments at the Standford University Medical Center. His publicist says he died with his family at his side.
Swayze was named People's Sexiest Man Alive in 1991.
