Carla Abellana as Rosalinda - Pinoy Telenovela (GMA 7 )

A 20-year-old commercial model Carla Abellana is poised to become the next big star of GMA-7 after it was announced that she will play the title role in the local adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Rosalinda.



Carla who earlier signed a 12-movie contract with Regal Entertainment is the daughter of ’80s heart throb Rey “PJ” Abellana. She is a graduate of De La Salle University with a degree in Psychology.
The Mexian telenovela starring Thalia aired on ABS-CBN in 1999 and re-runs aired on GMA 7.
The telenovela aired now on GMA 7 at night time after Zorro. Enjoy watching!
