Last Tuesday, July 21, 2009, Kobe Bryant was visited in Manila, Philippines after leading Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association’s 2009 Finals sponsored by Nike. Nike said in a statement that Manila will be Bryant’s first stop in his six-city tour in Asia starting on July 21, 2009. The phenomenal NBA star will also visit Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chengdu.
The tour gives Bryant a chance to check back on young Asians he met in previous tours. And he said he is planning on pushing the kids harder to give them a better sense of the dedication and hard work it takes to be a champion and he’s looking forward to returning to Asia to see the progress of the kids have made since his last visit.

Manila in 2007. Nike will also launch its latest design
Nike Dream Season, which is part of Bryant’s signature shoe collection sold exclusively in
Asia.
