The 36-year-old Hollywood actor Jude Law has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, is set to become a father for a fourth time with his former lover Samantha Burke, a 24-year-old actress/model .
Spokeswoman says that "following a relationship last year, Jude Law has been advised by the birth mother that he is to be the father of a child due in the autumn". And Law is no longer in a relationship with the woman but "intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life."
The Daily Mirror newspaper reported Thursday that Law met Burke while filming Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes" movie in New York last year.
He is currently starring in "Hamlet" on the London stage and on Broadway in October and will star with Robert Downey Jr. in the film Sherlock Holmes opening on Christmas Day.
